Description
Propolis or bee glue is a resinous mixture collected by honey bees from tree buds, sap flows, or other botanical sources. Used as a sealant for unwanted open spaces in the hive. It's the focus of a large number of research projects published in the biomedical literature as an oral hygiene product, emollient, antioxidant or an antimicrobial agent, as a treatment for allergies, in cancer treatment and cancer prevention.
